PoMo mobility portal

A portal accessed through the Internet, which allows travel planning in a sustainable key. For a given origin and destination of a trip, the software offers a comparison of travel by private vehicle, public transport and on foot.

Comparative information is offered through a bar chart for each of the two motorized modes: travel time, invested expense, energy consumption and CO2 emissions. The origin and destination can be requested by writing the street address or manually placing these points on a google maps environment. In addition, for each trip by public transport, complete information is offered on the modal chain to be used. A second block of applications is made up of a carpool manager.

The portal also allows personal management of all the trips that users want to save in a personal way. That is, there is an option for collective use and another for personal use that can also be downloaded from social networks such as Facebook or Google. The software is prepared to install other complementary applications, such as recommended routes by bicycle or the location of points of interest at the municipal level such as municipal facilities, educational, health or sports centers, or certain equipment related to mobility: railway stations, bus, car-sharing or public bicycle, rotation or deterrent parking, and others.
